COVID-19 CASES IN NIGERIA NOW 30; LASG ORDERS CIVIL SERVANTS TO STAY AT HOME

NCDC has announced 3 new cases of #COVID19 have been confirmed in Lagos, Nigeria

2 cases are returning travellers and 1 is a contact of a confirmed case.

As at 05:28 pm on the 22nd of March, there are 30 confirmed cases of #COVID19 in Nigeria. 2 discharged, 0 death.

In a new development, the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-olu has advised all Civil Servants in Lagos State (grade level 1-12) to stay at home for the next 14 days. This comes as no news as the number of confirmed cases rises. However, the stay at home order does not affect workers on essential duties and first responders.

All gatherings of more than 20 people have been banned and citizens are encouraged to practice social distancing and other preventive measures to contain the spread.
